From the age of 17, I was drawn to alternative healing and energy. Diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorder, I was prescribed anti-depressant medication.
I filled the prescription, went home, and vowed to never take one. I never did.
Frustrated with conventional medicine and its method of medicating the symptoms rather than healing the source of the problem, I sought out alternative health solutions. I self-studied through research and books on the body’s energy, discovering the power of the mind and its self-healing abilities.
17 years later, I took my first degree of Reiki in the spring of 2012, which was quickly followed by my second degree. In the summer of 2013, I started my own practice for the first time and fell completely in love with the experience of giving energy healing treatments to others.
I achieved my Reiki Mastery from the Usui Shiki Ryoho Lineage in October of 2013 and immediately dove into teaching Reiki to others and continuing to grow my practice.
Among the many lessons over the years, one that has stood out in the forefront of my mind is the need to act and teach with integrity. I seek to consistently expand my own knowledge through constant studies and research, as well as through experiencing life hands-on.
With my parents both losing their battles to chronic illness, I also developed a passion to assist with illness and end-of-life energy healing.
