From the time she was very young, Robyn was drawn to alternative healing and different spiritualities, believing even as a child that they all held a universal truth to them. Frustrated with conventional medicine, Robyn sought out alternative solutions for her own health as well as that of her family.

At the suggestion of her good friend and soon-to-be teacher, Terryann Nikides, Robyn took her first degree of Reiki in the spring of 2004, which was quickly followed by her second degree. In the summer of 2005 Robyn opened her own clinic, Montreal Reiki, for the first time and fell completely in love with the experience of giving Reiki treatments to others.

Robyn achieved her Reiki Mastery from the Usui Shiki Ryoho Lineage in October of 2007 and immediately dove into teaching Reiki to others.

Among the many lessons taught to her over the years, one that has stood out in the forefront of her mind is the need to act and teach with integrity. She seeks to expand her own knowledge through constant studies and research, as well as through experiencing life hands-on. Having attained a bachelor’s degree in a combined honors program of Japanese Studies and Cultural Anthropology, Robyn has long since indulged in her passion for discovering other cultures, faiths and ways of life
